The Cleveland Museum of Art has unveiled its lineup of exhibitions and events for April 2022, offering a diverse range of artistic experiences for visitors. The museum will feature several ongoing exhibitions, including “Alberto Giacometti: Toward the Ultimate Figure,” which showcases the artist’s significant postwar works, and “Derrick Adams: LOOKS,” exploring themes of self-representation through iconic depictions of wigs.
Additional exhibitions opening or continuing through April include “Women in Print: Recent Acquisitions,” highlighting contemporary female printmakers, and “Currents and Constellations: Black Art in Focus,” which places Black American art at the center of contemporary artistic dialogues. The museum will also host “Medieval Treasures from Münster Cathedral,” “Japan’s Floating World,” and “Creating Urgency: Modern and Contemporary Korean Art,” among others. Special programming throughout the month will include lunchtime lectures, artist conversations, printmaking demonstrations, and mindfulness sessions related to the featured exhibitions.
