The Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) has announced the recipients of its final Support for Professional Artists grants for 2022, distributing a total of $249,491. These grants are designed to assist individual artists and groups in creating new work, developing artistic skills, and expanding their audience reach.

The funding was allocated to 206 artists and ensembles, with $37,565 awarded to bands and ensembles and $211,926 distributed to individual artists. This marks the conclusion of the 2022 grant cycle for this program, which provided a total of $785,651 throughout the year. In 2023, the program will be rebranded as the Funds for Artists (FFA) program, with the first application deadline set for February 1.
