The Cincinnati Museum Center is set to premiere its latest OMNIMAX film, “Ancient Caves,” on November 20. This new production takes audiences on an immersive journey alongside paleoclimatologist Dr. Gina Moseley and her team as they explore some of the world’s most remote and hidden cave systems to uncover crucial clues about Earth’s past climate.

The film follows Dr. Moseley’s quest to gather stalagmite samples, often referred to as geologic “fingerprints,” from caves in locations including France, Iceland, the Bahamas, Death Valley, and Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. These samples provide scientists with a deeper understanding of the planet’s climate history. “Ancient Caves” features narration by Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston and is directed by Emmy Award-winning underwater cinematographer Jonathan Bird.
