The Cincinnati Art Museum is set to host its summer fundraiser, an event titled ‘A Happening,’ on Friday, June 18, from 6–10 p.m. The outdoor celebration will take place along the museum’s Art Climb steps, at the intersection of Gilbert Avenue and Eden Park Drive. This event aims to leverage the museum’s newly redesigned parking lot and arrival court, offering attendees scenic city views and highlighting current sculptural works.

Attendees will experience live music from Young Heirlooms and DJ Mowgli, performances by Pones, and a selection of food and beverages. All proceeds generated from ‘A Happening’ will directly support the museum’s programming. Inspired by the conceptual art movement of the 1950s, this event is organized by the museum’s young professional group, the CAM Catalysts, with the goal of fostering creativity and community engagement.

Tickets for ‘A Happening’ are priced at $75 for museum members and young professionals, and $100 for general admission, with both ticket types including food and drink. The event is open to guests aged 21 and older. Information regarding donor opportunities can be obtained by contacting [email protected] or calling (513) 639-2962. Several local businesses are sponsoring the event, with a full list of sponsors and donors included in the press release.
