Playhouse Square is set to welcome audiences back with its first live performance since the pandemic began. “The Choir of Man,” a high-energy musical revue, will open on June 11, 2021, and run through July 11 in the Mimi Ohio Theatre. This marks a significant step in the theater’s reopening process, with a focus on health and safety protocols developed in collaboration with local health officials and hospitals.

The limited engagement will feature 35 shows, with socially distanced seating available in pods of two, four, and six. Tickets will go on sale March 17, with prices ranging from $59 to $79. The 90-minute show, described as a “pub concert style” experience, features a cast of nine performers singing a variety of popular hits and original music, promising an uplifting and celebratory return to live entertainment.
