The Scribe is a monthly print newspaper covering Ohio's arts community. Each issue includes:

  • Artist features with full-color reproductions of their work
  • Arts news from organizations and institutions across the state
  • Event listings for galleries, theaters, festivals, and more
  • Opportunities including grants, residencies, and open calls
  • Original writing from Ohio poets and writers

We've published over 200 Ohio artists since our first issue in March 2024. Every artist is featured at no cost. The Scribe is produced by Apollo Press, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and is listed in the Library of Congress as a culturally significant publication.
