Playhouse Square announced its 2026-2027 KeyBank Broadway Series on March 25, featuring seven touring productions that will run through September 2027 at the Connor Palace and State Theatre in Cleveland. The season opens in September when Cleveland becomes the first city in North America to host the national tour launch of “Death Becomes Her,” the new musical comedy based on the 1992 film. Technical rehearsals begin mid-August, with the official opening set for September 12.

The full series lineup includes “Mamma Mia!” (January 2027), “BOOP! The Musical” (February 2027), “Maybe Happy Ending”—winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical—(March 2027), “The Phantom of the Opera” (April–May 2027), “Buena Vista Social Club” (July–August 2027), and “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” (August–September 2027). Season ticket packages, ranging from $185 to $810 per seat, are currently on sale and offer up to 55 percent savings compared to single-ticket prices.

Playhouse Square, the largest performing arts center outside New York City, serves approximately 40,000 season ticket holders annually, the largest touring Broadway audience in North America. Subscribers receive flexible exchange privileges, extended payment plans, and early access to additional performances. Individual tickets for the new season will go on sale at a later date.
