The Columbus Museum of Art opened “Greater Columbus: The 2026 Visual Arts Fellowship Exhibition” on April 15, presenting recent work by six recipients of the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Visual Arts Fellowship. The exhibition runs through September 20, 2026.
The six fellowship recipients are Malcolm Cochran, Yusef Ferguson, Dana Lynn Harper, Marcus Jackson, Michelle Stitzlein, and Bradley Weyandt. Working across sculpture, photography, textiles, installation, video, and sound, the artists represent a broad range of practices rooted in Central Ohio. The biennial exhibition is organized in partnership between the Columbus Museum of Art and the Greater Columbus Arts Council as a public showcase for work made by artists who have received the council’s recognition for significant contributions to the regional arts landscape.
The Greater Columbus Arts Council established the Visual Arts Fellowship as a biennial award supporting innovative artistic practice in Central Ohio. Past cycles have highlighted artists working at mid-career and beyond, with the exhibition serving as a visible platform for work that might not otherwise receive major institutional presentation.
The Columbus Museum of Art is located at 480 E. Broad St. in Columbus. Admission information and exhibition details are available at columbusmuseum.org.
