ArtsWave has announced the awarding of $160,726 through 30 Catalyzing Impact grants to support a diverse range of arts and cultural projects across the Greater Cincinnati region. These grants, funded by community gifts, aim to advance ArtsWave’s vision for a more vibrant, connected, and creative region by supporting new and expanded initiatives. The selection process involved a panel of 13 community volunteers working in partnership with ArtsWave’s Women’s Leadership Roundtable.

The awarded projects span various artistic disciplines, including public art, filmmaking education, intergenerational art workshops, and cultural celebrations. Notable projects include ARTE’s “17 Neighborhoods,” a community mural initiative, and CindeNext from the Cindependent Film Festival, which provides filmmaking education to high school students. These initiatives are designed to bring people together, amplify local voices, and strengthen communities.

The Catalyzing Impact Grant Program is ArtsWave’s sole grant opportunity open to all nonprofits for arts projects. ArtsWave, which has been funding the region’s arts since 1927, raises millions annually to support over 150 organizations, projects, and artists, driving a more vibrant economy and connected community through strategic investments.
