The Cincinnati Art Museum is set to host its popular “Art in Bloom” event from April 26-28, 2024. This year’s celebration of fine art and floral design will feature the work of nearly 60 floral artists from across North America, including internationally renowned floral photographer, sugar artist, and author Natasja Sadi. The three-day event aims to engage a broad community, from artists to those new to the museum, by showcasing floral artistry throughout the museum’s galleries and grounds.

For the first time since its inception in 2001, a jury selected the participating floral artists after reviewing numerous applications. Natasja Sadi, based in Amsterdam, will be a prominent figure, driving the event’s theming with her arrangements inspired by Dutch-master paintings. The festivities will include a variety of family-friendly programming, such as performances by the Cincinnati Men’s Chorus, a drag brunch, and a tea party in partnership with The BonBonerie. Docent-led tours of the floral arrangements will be available on Saturday and Sunday.

General admission and parking for “Art in Bloom” are free, allowing visitors to experience the floral displays throughout the museum. However, some special events and programs will require tickets, which will be available starting March 21, 2024. The museum also recommends making reservations for dining at the Terrace Café due to expected demand.
