ArtsWave has announced a successful 2025 Campaign, raising $12.3 million for the region’s arts. This achievement highlights the community’s commitment despite a year of economic and funding uncertainty in the arts sector. The announcement was made at a celebration event where the 2026 Campaign Chair, James Zimmerman, was also introduced.
The 2025 Campaign, chaired by Mel Gravely, Executive Chair of Triversity, saw strong participation from business leaders through the “Leaders for Cincy Arts” initiative. Gravely emphasized that the arts are an “essential” part of the Cincinnati region, contributing to its economic prosperity. The funds raised will support over 150 arts organizations, projects, and artists, funding a wide array of performances, exhibitions, educational programs, and festivals.
In addition to the campaign results, ArtsWave reported significant growth in its “More Arts More Kids” initiative, reaching 15,000 students, and the successful launch of the ArtsWave App. The organization is preparing to host the Americans for the Arts Convention in June, further showcasing Cincinnati as a vibrant arts hub. ArtsWave continues to rely on community support to fund the arts, with a history of community-based fundraising dating back to 1927.
