ArtsWave has announced the awarding of 49 Catalyzing Impact grants totaling $326,690 to support the creation and expansion of arts and cultural projects across the Cincinnati region. These grants, approved by ArtsWave’s Board of Directors following a competitive review process, are part of the organization’s annual Campaign, which aims to foster a more vibrant regional economy and connected community. The Catalyzing Impact grant program is ArtsWave’s sole grant initiative open to all nonprofits seeking funding for arts projects.
The awarded projects span a diverse range of artistic disciplines and community needs, from jazz festivals and cultural heritage events to arts education for youth and seniors, and exhibitions exploring personal identity and social issues. These grants are made possible through the annual ArtsWave Community Campaign, alongside support from the National Endowment for the Arts, and are crucial for sustaining the region’s rich arts experiences.
