Great Lakes Theater appointed Brian Barasch as its new Executive Director. Barasch has nearly two decades of experience in arts administration, marketing, and nonprofit leadership across classical theater, higher education, and youth arts programs.

His previous roles include leading a brand repositioning for DePaul University’s School of Music, directing communications for a $25 million capital campaign at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School, and most recently serving as Director of External Affairs and Communications at Kent State University. He will partner with newly appointed Producing Artistic Director Sara Bruner.
