Great Lakes Theater (GLT) has announced the appointment of Brian Barasch as its new Executive Director. Barasch brings nearly two decades of experience in arts administration, marketing, and nonprofit leadership to the organization. His background spans various arts institutions, including classical theater, higher education, and youth arts programs.

Barasch’s extensive experience includes spearheading a brand repositioning for DePaul University’s School of Music and leading communications for a $25 million capital campaign at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School. Most recently, he served as Director of External Affairs and Communications at Kent State University. He will now partner with newly appointed Producing Artistic Director Sara Bruner to guide GLT into a new era.
