Cincinnati Opera announced its 2024 Summer Festival on September 20, 2023, scheduled for June 13 through July 27 at Springer Auditorium in Music Hall. The season includes the world stage premiere of “Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Oratorio,” a new production of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni,” and Verdi’s “La Traviata.”

The Liverpool Oratorio staging, with production design by Leslie Travers, marks the first time the work will be presented in a theatrical format. The festival is led by Harry Fath General Director and CEO Christopher Milligan and Harry T. Wilks Artistic Director Evans Mirageas. Additional programming in the Wilks Studio was to be announced in January 2024.

Subscription packages start at $105 (on sale September 21, 2023); individual tickets start at $36 (on sale April 1, 2024).
