The Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University has been awarded a $158,932 grant from the Every Page Foundation. This significant funding will support the continuation of the Wexner Center’s Path Fellowship program, which aims to provide emerging arts professionals with crucial experience and training opportunities within a nonprofit cultural institution.

The Path Fellowship, created in 2021, is designed to remove career barriers for aspiring arts professionals, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds. The program offers one- to two-year fellowships that provide hands-on experience across various departments, fostering a new pathway for individuals seeking leadership roles in the arts. Applications for the 2024–25 fellowship are currently open through May 31, with a strong encouragement for candidates facing socioeconomic, racial, ethnic, or disability-related barriers to apply.

Every Page Foundation Executive Director Breea Govenar expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the foundation’s commitment to fostering career pathways for the next generation of arts leaders and its alignment with supporting feminist issues within the arts. The fellowship has already seen successful alumni, such as Reg Zehner and Jaz Nappier, who have moved into significant roles within the arts sector after their fellowship experience, underscoring the program’s impact.
