The 50th Cleveland International Film Festival wrapped its 10-day run at Playhouse Square on April 18, 2026, closing with jury and audience choice award announcements. CIFF50 screened hundreds of films from around the world and distributed over $70,000 in cash prizes to filmmakers.
The festival featured post-screening conversations and Q&As with visiting filmmakers. Founded in 1976, CIFF is one of the largest regional film festivals in the United States. This year’s edition included partnerships with local brands for its 50th anniversary programming.
