Cuyahoga Arts and Culture (CAC) has opened applications for its 2027 Project Support grants, available to nonprofit organizations producing, presenting or creating arts and cultural programs in Cuyahoga County. The application deadline is Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Project Support provides annual grants to nonprofits conducting arts and cultural projects in the county. All organizations seeking funding, including current grant recipients, must complete the application. CAC’s General Operating Support program is not accepting new applications this cycle, as it is in the first year of a two-year funding commitment.
Starting in May, CAC transitioned its application and reporting system to GOapply, beginning with the 2027 Project Support cycle. The agency is hosting virtual office hours on June 2, June 10 and June 16 for applicants to bring questions to CAC staff. A recorded workshop covering the application process and requirements is available on CAC’s website.
Since its establishment in 2006, CAC has invested more than $270 million in over 500 arts and culture organizations across Cuyahoga County. The public agency, funded by a dedicated cigarette tax, received its 18th consecutive clean audit from the Ohio Auditor of State in November 2025.
