Cleveland Ballet returns to Vermilion’s historic Harbourtown Fine Arts Center (HFAC) on July 26, 2025, for the company’s annual summer performance, Encore. The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with an intimate reception inside the Opera House featuring hors d’oeuvres, wines, and beverages, followed by an outdoor performance at 7:00 p.m.

The Harbourtown residency has become an annual tradition for the company, bringing professional ballet to the Lake Erie community. The intimate outdoor setting offers audiences a closer look at the artistry of Cleveland Ballet’s dancers in contrast to its mainstage Playhouse Square season.

Cleveland Ballet’s Vice President of External Affairs Rena Vysnionis and HFAC President Jim Chapple coordinate the annual event, which pairs fine dining with contemporary and classical ballet excerpts.
