The Stambaugh Youth Concert Band (SYCB) presented its first invitational concert on February 1, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of Stambaugh Auditorium. The event featured a joint performance with the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony, announced January 21, 2026.

The invitational marks a new chapter for the Stambaugh Youth Concert Band, expanding its programming to include collaboration with youth ensembles from across Northeast Ohio. The Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony’s visit to Youngstown connected young musicians from the state’s two largest metro areas in a shared performance.

Stambaugh Auditorium manages the Youth Concert Band as part of its educational mission in the Mahoning Valley performing arts community.
