The Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) has announced its inaugural MAX Madness tournament, a bracket-style competition for 16 popular OMNIMAX films. This event invites the public to vote for their favorite films shown on the museum’s large-format screen, aiming to crown a single champion.
Voting for MAX Madness begins on Monday, March 3, and will continue for four weeks, with updated brackets released weekly. Participants can submit their predictions online or by printing a bracket from the CMC website. Prizes, including OMNIMAX tickets, will be awarded to those with the most accurate bracket predictions. The tournament culminates on March 31 with the announcement of the winning film.
The competition features a diverse selection of OMNIMAX films, spanning genres from nature and adventure to history and space exploration. Films like “Superpower Dogs,” “Deep Sky,” and “D-Day: Normandy 1944” are among the contenders. The winning film, along with the Final Four selections, will be screened again at the Robert D. Lindner Family OMNIMAX® Theater in April and May, offering a chance for audiences to revisit beloved cinematic experiences.
