Chamber Music in Yellow Springs announced its 2026-2027 concert season, opening September 20, 2026, with the Calidore String Quartet at the First Presbyterian Church. The season continues with Frisson Winds (November 1), the Horszowski Trio (February 14, 2027), and Poiesis Quartet (March 14, 2027), culminating in the annual competition finals on April 25, 2027.
The nonprofit produces concerts by emerging chamber music ensembles of professional quality, bringing nationally recognized performers to the Greene County village of 3,700. The annual competition for emerging ensembles draws applicants from across the country, with the final round held before a live audience.
Chamber Music in Yellow Springs is part of the village’s concentrated arts community, which includes the Yellow Springs Arts Council gallery at 111 Corry Street and the Herndon Gallery at Antioch College, where experimental music and visual arts programming connect the college’s historic campus to the broader community.
