The Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) has announced a significant investment in its future with the establishment of The Vontz Family Education, Research and Collections Center. The new facility, located on Dalton Avenue in the former Heidelberg Distributing building, will serve as a central hub for preserving, studying, and sharing the region’s natural and cultural history.
This $45 million project aims to consolidate the museum’s extensive collections, which are currently housed in multiple locations, into a state-of-the-art center. The move is expected to improve access to these valuable resources and enhance research and educational initiatives. The development also represents a considerable investment in the West End and Queensgate communities, revitalizing a historic property.
