Heights Arts, a multidisciplinary arts nonprofit based in Cleveland Heights, has announced its 2025-2026 music season, which will feature ten concerts across three distinct series: Close Encounters chamber music, Gallery Concerts, and ARTbar. The season aims to showcase the diverse artistic talent within Cleveland Heights and the greater Cleveland area, offering a range of musical experiences in various local settings.
The Close Encounters series will present intimate chamber music performances by elite musicians, including members of The Cleveland Orchestra, in unique venues such as the Shaker Heights Villa and Dunham Tavern. The Gallery Concerts, programmed by a community team of local music professionals, will offer free performances by diverse local musicians in the Heights Arts gallery. Complementing these will be the ARTbar series, transforming the gallery into a cocktail lounge for intimate performances alongside current art exhibitions.
Beyond the performances, Heights Arts will continue its Close Encounters Open Rehearsals, providing educational opportunities for students and adults to observe the preparation process of professional musicians. This expanded programming underscores Heights Arts’ commitment to fostering a vibrant and collaborative arts community by making music accessible and engaging for all.
