The 47th annual Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland will return to Playhouse Square June 25 through 27, Cuyahoga Community College announced. KeyBank is the presenting sponsor.

The festival features 10 indoor concerts across three venues. Percussionist Sheila E. opens the festival Thursday, June 25, at the KeyBank State Theatre. Friday includes sets by Spyro Gyra at the Mimi Ohio Theatre, Durand Bernarr with Hubb’s Groove at the State Theatre, and vocalist Kurt Elling with pianist Fred Hersch at the Hanna Theatre. Trumpeter Dominick Farinacci performs with Jon Thomas at the Hanna Theatre earlier that evening.

Saturday’s schedule features bassist Ron Carter’s Foursight Quartet and vocalist Laurin Talese at the Hanna Theatre, Chris Dave and the Drumhedz and MonoNeon at the Mimi Ohio Theatre, and the Ohio Players closing the festival at the State Theatre.

All outdoor entertainment during the three-day festival is free. Individual concert tickets are available through the Playhouse Square box office.
