The Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) will present the John A. Ruthven Medal of Distinction to lifelong naturalists Helen Black and Cathy Chapman. The award recognizes their significant contributions to conservation efforts and the preservation of natural landscapes.
Black and Chapman, described as “forces for nature,” will be honored at an event on November 12. The CMC cited their extensive work in preserving acreage and their leadership in environmental protection as key reasons for the recognition. Their legacy is expected to benefit future generations of nature enthusiasts and conservationists.
