The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2025-26 season, a four-concert series at Stambaugh Auditorium that marks Music Director Erik Ochsner’s first year leading the ensemble.
The season opens December 22 with “Home for the Holidays,” featuring soprano Amanda Beagle, a Howland native and former Miss Ohio who maintains a private voice studio of nearly 50 students. Ochsner’s formal podium debut follows January 25 with “Fantastique!,” built around Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique.
Pianist and vocalist Tony Desare joins the orchestra March 13 for “Sinatra & Beyond,” a program of Frank Sinatra standards. The season closes May 15 with “Inextinguishable,” centered on Carl Nielsen’s Symphony No. 4. Season memberships start at $120, and individual tickets range from $20 to $65.
