ArtsNow, the arts and culture agency for Summit County, appointed three new members to its Board of Directors effective July 1, 2025: Chris Anderson, Nicole Chavers, and J. Rita McNeil Danish. The appointments were announced June 17.

Anderson is founder and executive director of Open Tone Music, a Northeast Ohio nonprofit providing music education and performance opportunities. Chavers is a program officer at the GAR Foundation with a background in grantmaking and community partnerships. McNeil Danish is CEO of Signal Ohio, a nonprofit media organization, and an attorney and civic leader with more than 30 years of experience. Three outgoing members, Dominic Moore-Dunson, Sean Joyce, and Rob Lehr, each completed six years of service. Nicole Mullet, ArtsNow Executive Director, said the new members’ “unique perspectives and breadth of expertise” would support the organization’s work in Summit County.
