Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music presented its annual Carols and Cocoa holiday concert on December 3, 2025, at Stambaugh Auditorium. The program featured multiple ensembles from the school performing holiday music and included the world premiere of “Carol of the Bembe Bells” by the YSU Percussion Ensemble.

Performing groups included the YSU Dana Chorale, directed by Dr. Hae-Jong Lee; the Stambaugh Chorus, a community-based choral group; the YSU Wind Ensemble, led by Dr. Michael Butler; and the Jazz Ensemble, directed by Dr. Kent Engelhardt. Specialty ensembles also performed, including the Clarinet Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Trombone Ensemble, and Saxophone Quartet. Tickets were available through stambaughauditorium.com.
