Dayton Contemporary Dance Company held its Street Beats Community Daze on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the company’s location at 840 Germantown St., Dayton. The free block party featured DCDC dancers in performance, line dancing, food, children’s activities, local vendors, and a school supplies giveaway.
Debbie Blunden-Diggs, Chief Executive and Artistic Director, described it as a “show of appreciation” to the community for its support. The company was founded 57 years ago by Jeraldyne Blunden. Admission was free.
