ProMusica Chamber Orchestra presented its Neighborhood Series: Schubert’s Octet on October 11 at Worthington United Methodist Church and October 12 at St. Mary Catholic Church in German Village. Both concerts began at 7 p.m. and 4 p.m. respectively. General admission tickets were $32.
The program featured Schubert’s Octet led by Creative Partner violinist Vadim Gluzman, joined by principal players Kathrine McLin, violin; Elias Goldstein, viola; Marc Moskovitz, cello; John Pellegrino, bass; Ilya Shterenberg, clarinet; Ellen Connors, bassoon; and Stephanie Blaha, horn. Janet Chen, ProMusica’s CEO, described the Neighborhood Series as “bringing dynamic music to personal, intimate, and welcoming environments.”
