The Columbus Arts Festival, produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) and presented by the American Electric Power Foundation, will once again feature a ‘Fashion as Art’ runway show. Local designer Celeste Malvar-Stewart is organizing the event, which will take place on the Genoa Park Main Stage on Friday, June 7, at 8 p.m.
The show will highlight the intersection of fashion and art by presenting unique, avant-garde, and high-end couture pieces from four Columbus-based designers: Tracy Powell, Chawis Saelim, Dominic Ciucci, and Casey Immel-Brown. Each designer will showcase eight looks, with music provided by Columbus-based DJ Pastel. This event, which was popular at last year’s festival, is free to attend and celebrates the artistic expression within the fashion industry.
