The Columbus Museum of Art received a $1 million gift from The Columbus Foundation, the museum announced on October 8, 2024. The gift coincides with the 10th anniversary of the museum’s Margaret M. Walter Wing expansion.

“The Columbus Museum of Art was important to our community when The Columbus Foundation was founded in 1943 and thanks to public and private support, is even more so now,” said Doug Kridler, President and CEO of The Columbus Foundation.

Executive Director and CEO Brooke A. Minto said the museum is approaching its 150th anniversary.
