The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance announced its 2024-25 season on February 15, 2024, at the Schuster Center. The season marked the 30th year for Neal Gittleman as conductor of the Dayton Philharmonic.
Kathleen Clawson programmed four opera productions: “South Pacific” in September 2024, “Amahl and the Night Visitors” in December, “Three Tenors, Encore!” in February 2025, and “Aida” in April. Brandon Ragland led the ballet season with “Coppélia,” a new “Nutcracker,” and “Cinderella,” among other programs.
The Masterworks Series featured six orchestral programs with works by Dvořák, Brahms, Beethoven, and Saint-Saëns. Special events included “Elf in Concert” in November and Handel’s “Messiah” in December.
