BLINK, the biennial public light and art festival organized in partnership with ArtsWave, returned to Cincinnati from October 17 to 20, 2024, for its fourth edition. The festival featured more than 80 artists from around the world, including more than three dozen from the Cincinnati region.

Artists created 15 original murals and more than 70 light-based and projection mapping installations across a footprint spanning three cities, one river, and more than 30 city blocks.

For the first time since LumenoCity, Cincinnati Music Hall was illuminated during the festival. Local participating institutions included the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Columbus College of Art and Design, and Miami University’s Department of Emerging Technology in Business and Design.

“We want it centered around the artists and our regional community,” said Justin Brookhart, Executive Director of BLINK.
