The Human Race Theatre Company in Dayton has announced Camp DNA (Developing New Artists), a three-week summer theater program for high school students running July 6-24, 2026. The program is open to rising 9th through 12th graders and runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Participants will train alongside professional resident artists and theater staff, choosing a specialty in acting, playwriting and directing, stage management and producing, or technical theater including lighting, sound and backstage basics. The program concludes with a student-led showcase of a play. Total cost is $525, with scholarships, sibling discounts and payment plans available. Two paid internships are available for college-age students.
