The Taft Museum of Art will present “Edie McKee Harper: Modernist at Play” from October 17, 2026, through January 24, 2027, in partnership with the Charley and Edie Harper Art Studio. The museum describes the exhibition as the first solo museum presentation devoted to the work of Edie McKee Harper (1922-2010), a Cincinnati-based artist whose career spanned more than six decades.

The show brings together more than 100 works across multiple media, accompanied by a comprehensive catalog and new scholarly research. The museum describes the exhibition as an exploration of Harper’s artistic vision and her contributions to mid-20th century American art and design.
