The Taft Museum of Art is accepting applications for the 41st Duncanson Artist-in-Residence Program, with a deadline of July 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. The museum is seeking an oral storyteller with teaching experience and a commitment to social justice for the 2027 residency. The selected artist will receive a $10,000 honorarium.
The Duncanson program, which the museum describes as one of the nation’s longest-running artist residency programs for contemporary Black artists, supports work across disciplines and community-based practice.
