Cleveland Ballet will return to Harbourtown Fine Arts Center in Vermilion on Saturday, September 21 for its annual Encore in Vermilion performance. The evening begins with a wine and appetizer reception at 6 p.m., followed by an outdoor performance at 7 p.m. in front of the historic Town Hall and Opera House.

The program includes the Prologue from Sleeping Beauty, Walpurgisnacht from Gounod’s Faust, which was selected for the Dance Showcase at Playhouse Square, and works from Cleveland Ballet’s ChoreoLab, a showcase of the dancers’ own choreography.

HFAC President Dr. Jim Chapple, who serves as educational outreach coordinator for Cleveland Ballet, said the program demonstrates the depth and talent of Cleveland Ballet’s dancers. Larry Goodman, president and CEO of Cleveland Ballet, said the program reflects the imprint of artistic director Timour Bourtasenkov. Tickets are available at cleveballet.org or by calling 216-320-9000.
