State and Federal Communications hosted a reception on Oct. 9 at its downtown Akron headquarters to mark the installation of new artwork by Summit County artist Jennifer Vincik. The event was organized in partnership with ArtsNow.
Elizabeth Bartz, president and CEO of State and Federal Communications, said the installation reflects the company’s interest in local artists. “Supporting the arts means honoring the creativity that shapes our community,” Bartz said. “Investing in creativity, compassion, and community is how we create a stronger Akron together.”
Nicole Mullet, executive director of ArtsNow, said the project illustrates what can happen when local businesses work with artists. “Elizabeth and her team continue to show what corporate leadership in the arts looks like, creating opportunities for artists like Jennifer to share their vision while enhancing the spaces where our community works and gathers,” Mullet said.
