Weathervane Playhouse in Akron has announced the winners of its 13th Annual 8×10: The Eileen Moushey TheatreFest. The audience-judged competition awarded first place to “40 Years Later” by Scott Mullen, second place to “A Flawless Encounter” by Jay Boughner and third place to “Goo Goo Eyes” by F. J. Hartland.

The 8×10 TheatreFest features short plays performed and voted on by the audience. Weathervane Playhouse has also announced that the required setting for plays submitted to the 2026 festival will be a campground. Submission information for the 2026 festival is expected later this fall.
